Tia Marie is expecting this weekend

Peanut and Tia

I know I have been awfully quiet lately, I am sorry for that.  Well I do have some good news.  Tia and Peanut are expecting once again.  Tia, ready to pop any minute, has been sulking around the house.  She is THE drama queen, so there is a fair amount of her playing up on her condition.  She makes a big show of having to waddle around, and wanting comforting constantly.  Of course we don’t mind at all.

Pregnant Tia

She is quite large, and has been pretty grumpy with the other dogs.  Last time she had a litter, she had four of the most beautiful puppies.  Two were long hair, and two were shorthair.

Oh! Hello

We are looking forward to another wonderful litter.  Her due date is May 19’th, but I think we may be greeted with an early arrival, we’ll see.  I can tell you that we are far from patient with the waiting.  There is something so sweet about the sounds of newborn puppies in the house.

Tia and her new babies

Rest assured I will post an update just as soon as she has the new babies.  Until then, we will be catering to her every need, after all she is our little Diva, and she knows it.

Oh I love this! Where are you located? I was just telling my spouse last night we need a playmate for our little guy that just turned 2. I've always wanted a white Chihuahua and keep ending up with fawn with a white markings. Good luck Tia!

Hello Elaine, We are in the Fort Worth Tx area. It can be hard to get a solid white one. I have noticed many a time that they start out white, and end up getting tan or fawn spots as they get older.

Thank you very much Chihuahua Information. We can't wait to see what she'll give us this time around.

Oh my gosh! How fun and how cute the last litter was. I can't wait for pictures of the new litter. What a heartwarming little family.
P.S. I also understand how Tia Marie is feeling? LOL!!!
Do you give all your animals middle names? All of mine have them, and they aren't purebreds. It's just something I have always done. Perhaps because my parents did not give me one. LOL!!!

Hey Allison, Yep they all have middle names and nick names to. We're still waiting to, the little diva is sure making good use of the anticipation. We can't stand it sometimes, LOL, the anticipation is a killer.
