Well most of the babies have gone to their new homes. Sunny left us Friday night. Marissa, her new mommy, is keeping us updated by leaving comments here. This is the comment she left on the last post.
Blinda and Eric,
We just wanted to leave you a quick message to tell you how GREAT Sunny is doing! She didn't cry at all on the ride home and as soon as we got home I took her outside and she went potty. We let her have time to get to know Star, our Golden Retriever, and they were instantly friends. Sunny very playfully chased her around the yard. When we went in, we watched her explore the living room and she was so frisky and happy! She's been going outside to use the potty even though its so cold! We have a little sweater for her, but she is constantly taking it off. :) She is eating great and sleeping good at night in her kennel, we call it her "house-house". She cries when we put her in there for the night, but only for about 5 minutes. She then goes to sleep and I get her up around 3am to go outside. We just LOVE her and she is the sweetest, cutest little sweetheart. Thank you so much! Her vet had a family emergency yesterday and had to close the clinic, so we didn't get to take her in for her checkup. I am planning to take her in the morning. We will continue to keep you updated. Right now, she is running around my room barking playfully at Star, saying, "Let's play!" :) Merry Christmas!
Marissa
I Just love hearing about the babies. It’s nice to know they are enjoying their new homes, and having fun. Sunny was one our little shy kids, and I just knew she was going to be a big lover.
Papi was picked up by her new parents on Saturday. They come all the way from San Antonio, and had been on pins and needles waiting to get Papi. This family has one of Babe’s puppies from a previous litter, and are interested in another of Babe’s puppies. They brought a blanket along with them, and we rubbed Sable and her other babies with the blanket, so the familiar sent would get on it. They already have bought Papi a brass bed, and a whole bunch of toys and clothes. I have a sneaking suspicion that Papi is going to be one very spoiled little dog.
Tiny Boy, the black and tan puppy, that was real small, found a new home right away. The interesting part was, he’s going to live with the family that bought Tiny Girl. So the siblings will be reunited, and living close to each other. Tiny Girl was a Christmas present for their mother. When they gave her to them, they decided to get one for themselves. So Tiny Boy is going to have a good home where he gets to see his sister regularly.
Now that just leaves us with Big Boy and Little Girl. Both are Black and Tan, and of completely different personality. Big Boy is more reserved and almost timid, and Little Girl is rambunctious and adventurous . She Has no fear, and is super fast. We had them out earlier today, and she was running laps around the coffee table. Peanut of course had to try to catch her, but had a little trouble keeping up.
We got a new digital video camera, and as soon as I get it all figured out, I’ll post some videos.

Yes, they're gone., the cute babies.
Merry Christmas Eric
We hopes you find new humans real soon, we can't let mommy see them she would want to bring one home, but we heard daddy raise his voice after our sister and brother went over the bridge this past summer, he said "no more" I can't take it. But we know deep down in mamas heart she wants a woof woof. You guys bees good till your new humans come to get you k? And have a purrfect Christmas with Santa.
It's always good to hear that your babies found wonderful homes. Something that you and Blinda must be so grateful for, I'm sure. It would be so sad to know one of your babies gets mistreated. Just the thought already sickens me. So I'm just as happy as you on their good conditions.
Merry Christmas,
Tasha
@ Jena, Yes they are, and soon I think the last two will be on their way to new happy homes. Now we have to get used to a house with fewer happy souls once again.
Hello Skitto, Peanut, and Chyanne, You can let your mommy see the pictures. I'm sure she can restrain herself, although she will probably want one, LOL. The kids, and being very good, and behaving themselves quite well. Maybe after some time passes, your Daddy will realize how much he misses having the extra loving hearts around. Then you could get a new woof woof brother or sister.
@ Tashabud, Yes it is fun to hear from the new parents. We have a number of them that have come back for anther puppy from different litters. It really does fill our heart with joy to hear the stories. That really is one of the reasons I started this blog. Thank you.
It's always good to hear dogs getting their forever homes. They deserve to be with their forever families, especially this season. Speaking of which, I found this cool site today, http://www.petcentric.com/crittercarols/?DCMP=RAC-PETC-DogTm-Carol08&HQS=Blog. It allows you to create animated e-cards featuring a chorus of singing and dancing pets that bark or meow your favorite holiday songs. What's more fun is that you can even use your friends' or your own pet's photos. I sent one to my friends, and boy, it was a sure hit!
JLouis, Thanks for the link, sounds like fun. It is nice to get the kids set up in their furever homes. There's a certain satisfaction in it.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.
