It’s that time when the kids are needing to learn to eat puppy food. They are doing great, and eating with a veracious appetite. The problem we have, is Sable. She is such a doting mother, it stresses her out, not to be able to get in with her babies. Sable has relaxed a little bit about the other dogs getting to see her puppies, and is now letting Mr. Peanut visit his offspring. Peanut is one of the most unusual males, he loves to play with his kids, the picture above is him with his little boy from Tia’s litter. He is the only male we have had that wants anything to do with his puppies.
The babies are playing a little rougher with each other now. They spend more time awake now, and most of it is wrestling with each other. They have learned that by biting each others ears and tails, they can get a response from their sibling. They are also discovering toys, something that are in bountiful supply around our house.
Bllinda spends quite a bit of time playing with them, and picking them up to talk to them. I still say she is just spoiling them in advance. As soon as she talks to them they come running. Of course there are two that have become her favorites, Little Red who you see in the back, and Little Girl who is the tan and white laying on her back in the very back of the picture above. Personally, I like Number One The tan with the white flash on her forehead, and the little girl who looks like a Rottweiler.
The light tan one, on the left, playing with the toy, is the runt. He has already been claimed, as a matter of fact he was claimed when they were only 1 week old. His new owners have already chosen a name for him, Papi, after the male Chi in Beverly Hills Chihuahua. He is probably the most loving of the bunch, and loves to be picked up and held.
This is Little Girl, one of Blinda’s favorites. She is very spoiled already, and gets plenty of attention. She has a very inquisitive attitude, and is always trying to get out to see what is going on.

Peanut is my kind of a male in the male species. Can he cook, wash dishes, clean house, and give good hugs and massages, too? LOL.
The kids are oh so cute and cuddly. It must be hard for you and Belinda to depart from any of them as each one gets claimed by future owners, eh? Already, I'm thinking of the emotional aspect of it. I'm suffering just thinking about it.

Your too funny Tashabud. Peanut will clean your dishes for you, but you may not want to eat off them after hes done. He's too small for massages, only 3 pound 4 ounces. But he loves to hug and kiss, LOL.
They are adorable, and a little bit of work. But mostly, they love to be held and cuddled. Blinda spoils them rotten, notice I said Blinda and not me - I would never dream of spoiling them.
Sometimes we get attached to a few that are extraordinary and its a little hard to let go of them. Mostly we know what is to come, so we're prepared for it.
The puppies are so adorable. But Mr. Peanut looks very thin. I hope he is getting enough to eat with all the younguns around.
All of your Chihuahuas are very very cute!!!
Thanks TC, yep Peanut is a skinny boy, always has been except when he was a baby. He was a chubby little thing then, now he only weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces, and is a bundle of energy
Eric,
Your response is just as funny. Thanks. It made me chuckle.
BTW, I posted the rewrite of my lastest novel posting, if you're interested.

I would like to know how much Sables babies weigh now. I am Papi's new owner and am anxious to pick him up. Give my Papi a big warm hug.

Tashabud. I'll be by to check it out
Hi Irma, nice to hear from you. Papi is the smallest, he weighs 1 pound 8 ounces. The largest is one of the black and tan males and he weighs 1 pound 13 ounces. We gave them their first shots tonight, and Papi was the calmest of them all. I have to tell you Papi is going to be very much a lover. He always wants to be picked up and held.
They're soooo cute, how I wish I could buy one...lol..if I were there. Am I committing a faux pas if I ask the price here?
Thanks for sharing.
BTW, can I use some of your dog photos in the future? I will link back to your site. But it's okay if you won't allow. I would understand.
Cheers.
Jena, no problem. The boys are 250 and the girls are 300. They are cute aren't they.
You can use the photos any time you want. I have started using Flickr for most of the photos, just click on one and it will take you to my flickr page. Most all of them I have marked as Creative Commons share alike, non-commercial. If one you like is not so marked, don't worry I just haven't got to it yet. You can still use it.
Your dogs are adorable! I can't believe they're so affordable. I'm surprised they haven't all been snapped right up.
My problem would be having to give them away!
HI Sarcasta-Mom, Well we just put them up for deposits. They will be ready just before Christmas. Four have been claimed already.
