The babies are opening their eyes, and testing their legs. This is where things start getting fun. It’s always enjoyable to share the first times of any living thing.
Sable and her babies are doing great. Sable being the protector she is, has been pretty attentive, and not really left their side much. She is just now venturing out of the kennel for any length of time. That is mostly to get a little love from Momma.
It’s fun to watch them wobble around, and test their balance. There is the inevitable stumble and roll, but no damage, they just get right back up and go again.
Of course there are two things they do better than anything else, eat and sleep.
They should start getting more and more active now, and the fun is just beginning.

Awww.. I particularly love the picture where one of the lightbrown chihuahuas is on top of the other lightbrown chihuahua.
