Another Simple, Sleepy, Nice Sunday

Great Danes and Chihuahuas by David Shankbone,...

The kids are all outside enjoying the nice weather and playing in the yard.  They manage to drag most of the toys out there, then ignore them to run and chase each other around like crazy animals.  Taking care of 8 Chihuahuas is a very fun, interesting, and complicated task at times.  People are always surprised at how aggressive a Chihuahua can be.  They are known for their big attitude, but it never fails to garner a laugh when someone walking their big dog is confronted at the fence by a fiercely growling and barking Chihuahua.

The kids have all been pretty comical of late.  Annie who believes she has to mother everybody, even though she is not any of them’s mother, has been enjoy pestering Babe. Would youAnnie always cleans Babes eyes and ears on a regular basis.  Babe in return snarls and grumbles about it, but never stops her.  We have just about decided they are love growls. Annie manages to make her way around to all the kids, making sure they are keeping themselves properly cleaned and up to her high standards.

Meeka has been laying claim to some of the toys, and bringing them back into the house.  She also has been playing more with Teco and Tia, instead of just Peanut and Callie.  She is turning into a very sweet, yet somewhat mischievous youngster. It's Mine

I am looking forward to Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I have 2 myself: Maya and Stinky. They are both mischievous and entertaining and sometimes ferocious to other dogs that could tear them apart, I always wondered what their little pea brains were thinking, maybe they just think they can bluff their way through the situation and the bigger dog will get scared...

Hi Zrii, Yea they do have small dog complex. Peanut who is 3 pounds has pinned our Basset Hound to the floor a couple of times. I guess he is tougher than he looks. They all believe they can take on anything that comes their way.

Thanks for stopping by.

Mt grandmom had a thing for these tiny little guys.I always remember her having one and for some reason Chihuahuas don't like me. I am a animal lover cats, dogs, guinea pigs just all of the furry creatures but for some reason I have never met a Chihuahua that didn't bark at me.I can't figure out why that is I think they are cute and have never had a mean word for one.m hubby like them to he is a trucker and wants to get one to ride in the truck with him.

Lapa37, Chihuahuas are alarmists. They love to let their owners know any time a person comes around. Once they get used to a new person, they calm down.

If you get one as a puppy, you can socialize them better by introducing them to a lot of people. Eventually this will calm the barking.

They make great companions, and would be a wonderful trucking buddy for your hubby. Ours communicate with us all the time. Just a look this way or that, and a simple grumble or growl. At times a yip or excited bark. They are great lap dogs, and very protective of their people.

I'm sure there are a bunch out there who would love you.

Tummy sounds like a sweet dog. I'm sorry you don't even get to take care of a dog. They are such wonderful companions. There is nothing better than coming home after a long day and being greeted by all those fury faces.
